Shop Quality of Life


Now that the game jam review period is over, I'm free to update the game!

The most common feedback was about the shop. It was too easy to accidentally replace an upgraded item with a new one. It was time consuming to reroll over and over looking for the right items without a visual indicator of which ones could be upgraded. There was no explanation that some items were equipped in the main hand and some were equipped offhand. Also, there was no bonk sound effect when a blob fainted! (No one said this, but it's true.) Keeping these things in mind, I've made the following changes:

1.2 Patch Notes:

    Added a prompt for trading items

    Added a visual indicator for available upgrades

    Implemented Auto-Upgrade toggle for the shop

    Increased the maximum cost of rerolls to 9999

    Improved shop UI to show all of a selected blob's currently equipped items

    Improved battle UI to clarify when Auto-battle is active

    Fixed a bug in the tutorial which caused a message about time manipulation to repeat

    Added a bonk sound effect when a blob faints

There's still so much to improve and add to get Last Fantasy to where I'd envisioned it during the jam period.
