Operation Fix Everything


First, thank you to everyone who has played this game. Especially if you left a comment and even more especially if you gave feed back!

This version is much closer to what I had envisioned when I started working on it for the game jam. It's also improved based on the responses from players. Though far from perfect (or even that much different from the original submission,) I can feel more or less satisfied with it.

Highlights:

  • A save system which is a bit wonky.
  • The option to respawn after defeat.
  • Sprinting.
  • Players can now actually go to a new maze after defeating the boss of the current maze, where the enemies are... slightly stronger!

  • Animations for the player's claws and tail.
  • Several terrible typos corrected.
  • Looking with the mouse should feel far less terrible.
  • Moving should feel better, too!
  • Two new items, the Stopwatch and Feather, which benefit high Initiative and Evasion respectively.
  • You can now see your To Hit percentage and the amount of damage an attack will do before choosing to use it.
  • Item descriptions also give actual numbers which are updated as they upgrade in the inventory window.

With those and lots of minor things improved, I consider this game Good Enough!
